Welcome to Colorizen. By downloading and using this application, you accept the following terms.
1. About the application
Colorizen is an iOS coloring application for adults, intended for personal use. It offers a collection of illustrations to color, creative tools (brushes, palettes, soundscapes), and an experience designed for well-being.
2. License
By downloading Colorizen, Apple grants you a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use the app on the Apple devices associated with your Apple ID.
This license is valid for life, as long as the app remains compatible with your iOS operating system.
3. In-App Purchases
Colorizen offers three purchase options, all handled by Apple through StoreKit. Prices are set by Apple and vary by region — the current price of each option is displayed on the App Store and inside the app's paywall at the time of purchase.
Weekly subscription
Auto-renewable subscription. Renews automatically each week unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Managed through the user's App Store account.
Annual subscription
Auto-renewable subscription, with a 7-day free trial for eligible users. At the end of the free trial, the annual subscription starts automatically and is billed to the App Store account. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends via iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Colorizen.
Renews automatically each year unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Lifetime access
Non-consumable one-time purchase. No renewal. Permanent access to all current and future content included in the Premium tier.
Founding Members (grandfathering)
Users who purchased the previous one-time version of Colorizen before July 2026 are automatically recognized as Founding Members. They retain permanent access to all Premium features, including future content and features, at no additional cost. No action is required on their part. This recognition is automatic via their Apple ID.
Cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time from the App Store account settings (iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Colorizen). Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if the user upgrades to a paid subscription early. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their standard policy (support.apple.com). Colorizen does not process refunds directly.
Restoration
Users can restore previous purchases at any time via the in-app "Restore your purchases" button, using Apple ID authentication.
Family Sharing
The Weekly and Annual subscriptions support Family Sharing. The Lifetime purchase does not support Family Sharing (individual license).
4. Intellectual property
All elements of Colorizen - illustrations, source code, visual identity, soundscapes, and textual content - are the exclusive property of Jordan Deman.
The in-app purchase grants you the right to use these elements for personal purposes only.
5. Permitted and prohibited uses
Permitted
- Personal, non-commercial use
- Individual sharing of your finished coloring work (for example, by private message or on your personal social networks)
- Printing your personal artwork for private use
Prohibited
- Redistribution, resale, or public dissemination of the original illustrations (before coloring)
- Decompilation, modification, or reverse-engineering of the application
- Bypassing premium protections
6. Local storage
Colorizen works entirely offline. Your in-progress coloring work, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device, with no cloud synchronization. See our privacy policy for full details on how your data is handled.
7. Limitation of liability
Colorizen is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The creator cannot be held responsible for:
- Loss of data following a reinstallation, device reset, or hardware failure
- Service interruption due to Apple's technical issues
- Any indirect consequence related to use of the app
Since your work is stored locally, you are solely responsible for backing up the creations that matter to you (printing, screenshot, external sharing, and so on).
8. Changes to the terms
These terms may be revised occasionally. The version in force is always the one available at colorizen.app/terms. The "Last updated" date is indicated at the top of this page.
Any substantial change will be notified through the app.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute will fall under the competent courts of the canton where the creator resides, except where binding legal provisions stipulate otherwise.
